Introduce Yourself

I recently moved to Colorado and I'm very excited to be here. I love it here. I lived in Wyoming for about a year and a half and visited CO often. I found that I love almost everything about CO, even after I moved to St. Louis for awhile (which was great, but it's SO humid). Between the mountains and the city, there's so much to do and see. I like the weather the most; it's better than anywhere else I've lived.

Not long after I moved to CO, I began attending New Life Church and God began to do a work in me. It began with learning what the Bible says about the differences between the more conventional types of churches (in which I grew up) and charismatic churches (which new life is). A few weeks later I started attending theMILL when they were just past halfway through a series on the Ten Commandments from which I learned much. I won't go into great detail, but most of my CO story is spiritual growth; mainly in patience, faith, and depth of commitment.

Some more about me:

-Anything Russia really draws me in. (Ever heard of the band Slot?) I've wanted to learn the language for a long time, but have only recently actually started to try to do so. Once I get the hang of that, I'm moving on to German.

-Stand-up comedy is one of my favorite things to watch; including: Aziz Ansari, Mike Birbiglia, Josh Blue, Jim Carrey, Zach Galifianakis, Kevin James, Demetri Martin, Chris Rock, Jerry Seinfeld, Harland Williams.

-I've been playing bass (for the fun of it) for about 4 years; I'm also just starting to learn guitar.
